The Salem Trombone Choir (STC)
will present a concert on Sunday afternoon,
August 25, at 4:00 p.m.
in the sanctuary of Trinity Moravian Church
at 220 E. Sprague St., Winston-Salem.
This concert, in memory of Lillian Fort and the other trombone choir members who have “gone home,” will include favorites of those members along with newer selections which would have been among their favorites. Arrangements/transcriptions to be performed include both sacred and secular, and span the eighteenth century to the present.
The STC, conducted by Donna Rothrock, will be joined by members of the Raleigh Moravian Trombone Choir, trombonists from the Bethlehem (PA) area, and organist Daniel Johnson for this free concert. For more information, contact Donna at 336-705-9011
