Southeast Forsyth County Area Plan Meeting–3/21/2013
The third meeting concerning the Southeast Forsyth County Area Plan will be held at the Union Cross Traditional Academy in the media center on Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The purpose of the meeting will be:
- to respond to citizen comments about changes to two areas on the preliminary future land use map,
- to discuss the special land use conditions for small commercial and industrial sites not located in designated Activity Centers, and
- to discuss other long-term recommendations of the Plan including transportation, greenways and other community facilities.
There are two attachments. The first attachment (SEFCAP 2-21-2013 Mtg. Public Feedback )is the comments and feedback from citizens regarding the proposed preliminary land use map presented at the February 21, 2013 meeting. The second attachment (SEFC_ProposedLU) is a copy of the proposed land use map.
Both attachments are portable digital files (.pdf) which require Adobe Reader software to view. If you do not have Adobe Reader software, it can be downloaded for free from the internet from the following website link: http://get.adobe.com/reader/ When either attachment is opened through Adobe Reader, there is a toolbar at the top of the page that allows you to zoom in to any area on the page.
Once again, it’s important to remind everyone that this Area Plan will not change the zoning of any property, but simply serves as a guide for local government and citizens to evaluate future development proposals.
